Journalism That Matters Archives

We have moved our current web site to https://journalismthatmatters.org. JTM will keep these archives online, with our history from 2001 – 2013. Please also join us at our current web site.

The menu above, and links and search box below will guide you through the archives.

JTM Online and Past Events

Member Pam Kilborn-Miller

From 2010 to 2013, Journalism That Matters operated “JTM Online” as an online version of a JTM unconference. This was a combination of blogs, working groups, and social networking. We have preserved it in these archives, integrated with content from JTM events since our beginning in 2001.

Under ‘JTM Online’ above, scroll down in the Sitewide Activity stream to see more than two thousand updates, combined from working groups, member profiles, and networked sites and blogs. Groups and members have activity streams comprised of brief updates, files shared, and blog posts and comments from across the network.

Global Health & Development

Scrolling, sorting, and searching under JTM Online shows content from 2001 – 2009 in context, or browse it directly under Past Events.

For an example Member profile, see Pam Kilborn-Miller, for an example Group see Global Health & Development Journalism, and an example network site for a JTM event is Journalism is Dead; Long Live Journalism.

Existing members may still log in and retrieve files and data with a form on the lower right of this page, but this network is closed to new activity. Please join Journalism That Matters at our current web site, JournalismThatMatters.net.

The JTM Blog, 2008 – 2013 and Seattle Journalism Commons

These projects’ updates are also integrated with Activity under JTM Online, but they receive special mention in the menu above. With those links, you can directly browse JTM’s main blog posts in 2008 – 2013, or posts published at Seattle Journalism Commons in 2011 – 2013.

Below are a few more examples of what you may find in the JTM Archives.
