I am a consultant and web editor for several nonprofit\/academic journalism
\norganizations. I current serve as webmaster for, among others, Religion
\nNewswriters Association and its foundation (http:\/\/www.rna.org) and
\nReligionLink project (http:\/\/www.religionlink.org), and for the Center on
\nReligion & the Professions at the University of Missouri
\n(http:\/\/corp.missouri.edu\/). The groups I serve are very interested in
\nexpanding their web-based journalism communities.<\/p>\n
I have operated my own consulting business since 2001; before that, I
\nspent 20 years as an editor at mainstream newspapers, including the L.A.
\nDaily News and the Dallas Morning News.<\/p>\n

1) I’m looking forward especially to the Drupal sessions.<\/p>\n
2)Many of my clients need to move to a CMS but design cost is an important
\nfactor in their decision. I’m looking for ideas to offer the transition in
\nthe most creative and least disruptive way.<\/p>\n
3) I’d like to learn more about using visitor input on a headlines or news
\naggregator site.<\/p>\n
I teach an online class in the Fall of each year at The New School called
\n“The Future of a Journalism.” In this class we explore current issues in
\nthe evolving news environment. I can share experiences with teaching
