Today represents a joining of two rivers involving both journalists and technologists.
8:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. — Project work continues
*Starting anytime after 8 a.m. in the Domain Hotel breakfast cafe (lobby level), reconvene conceive/design/build breakouts from Friday and select a comfortable venue to work around the hotel. These projects, initiatives and seedling companies can continue hacking, and talking.
9 a.m. — (concurrent) The JournaTech Expo at the Domain Hotel
*Meanwhile, the Northern California chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists(SPJ) opens a one-day “Innovations in Journalism Expo”and seminar. In the morning, individuals, groups, organizations and companies will use the Domain Hotel conference facility to “expose” their info-tech ideas to NewsTools2008 participants “and” SPJ one-day attendees. 12:45 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. — Mid-day bag lunch
For registered NewsTools2008 participants, the Domain Hotel will provide a bag lunch during this period. Continue concept-design-build collaborations, or mingle with SPJ event attendees and exhibitors.

*SPJ panels continue during and after lunch, and informal NewsTools2008 collaborations resume.
1:45 p.m. – 3 p.m. NEWSTOOLS 2008 REPORTBACKS
SPJ, NewsTools and Expo participants gather for final briefings and next-step announcements from the NewsTools2008 project workers.
3 p.m. — SPJ panels continue
NewsTools2008 participants can continue to attend final SPJ panels and make plans for ongoing collaboration.
