Let’s reflect on what we’ve assembled to do:

“Spend a day describing the core values and essential elements of journalism that matters. Then journalists and technologists together launch projects, form design circles and breakouts to conceive or deploy the best tools — off the shelf and invented on-the-fly — to put those values and elements into practice.”

Our goal is to create an environment where you can connect with fellow journalists and technologists. We’re willing to share (perhaps irrational) exuberance about the future of journalism and participatory democracy — a sense of possibility, not dread. Discuss, share, invent and depart with the conviction that we are just beginning a journey together as part of the JTM/MGP network.
