Journalism that Matters Pacific Northwest joins the Asian American Journalists Association and others<\/a> in calling on the Syrian government to assist in the safe return of\u00a0 Dorothy Parvaz, a former staff member of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, currently working for Al Jazeera. She has been missing in Syria since Friday, April 29.<\/p>\n
