staff. \u00a0 Techcrunch has actually changed the way high tech sector is reported; MSM now liveblogging at industry events, where high tech leaders are speaking etc.<\/p>\n<p>Others:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.barista.net\/\">http:\/\/www.barista.net<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pegasusnews.com\/\">http:\/\/www.pegasusnews.com<\/a> &#8211; has been bought &amp; sold<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.voiceofsandiego.org\/\">http:\/\/www.voiceofsandiego.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mark also gave examples of startups by former newspaper journalists, include<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/www.myballard.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myballard.com\/\">http:\/\/www.myballard.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Husband and wife reporting team that covers their Seattle neighborhood of Ballard<\/p>\n<p>As well as another reporting team:<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/www.westseattle.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.westseattle.com\/\">http:\/\/www.westseattle.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jeremy Iggers was attending this session, from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tcdailyplanet.net\/\">http:\/\/www.tcdailyplanet.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This features original reporting by city journalists, others to feature what is happening, best of the neighborhoods, community press, ethnic press, workday Minneapolis.\u00a0 They also train potential journalists.\u00a0 This had startup funds of $12K.<\/p>\n<p>There is another news site called Minnpost run by Joel Kramer.\u00a0 This is staffed by former Minneapolis Star Tribune journalists.\u00a0 Kramer does not believe in &#8216;citizen journalism&#8217;
