Al Leeds has been under the roof of The Washington Post building for 28
years, including 18 years as president and editorial director of the Los
Angeles Times-Washington Post News Service. He holds bachelor and master’s
degrees from Drake University, and twice taught the introductory journalism
course at The George Washington University.
