At this three-day event, we will conceive, design and pitch ideas for the next news and information businesses, tools, and services that amplify diverse voices<\/strong> and strengthen the role of communities in shaping their stories.<\/p>\n

The gathering serves as a sandbox<\/strong> in which professionals ranging from programmers to journalists can initiate entrepreneurial journalism ventures. At the same time, regional participants will incubate new ideas to re-invigorate the news ecology in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. The event is designed around result-driven conversations that spark collaboration and innovations.<\/p>\n
