International Civil Rights Center and Museum, Greensboro<\/p><\/div>\n

Travel
\nBy air:<\/strong> Greensboro is reached via the Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) in Greensboro. Several major airlines travel into GSO including American Airlines, Continental, Delta, United and US Airways.\u00a0 Allegiant Air also flies into Greensboro and is an easy and inexpensive option for travel from Florida cities such as Tampa\/St. Pete, Orlando and Fort Myers\/Punta Gorda. The Raleigh-Durham International Airport is also within a 1 \u00bd-hour drive of Greensboro.<\/p>\n

By rail:<\/strong> Amtrak runs high-speed rail service into downtown Greensboro.<\/p>\n

By car:<\/strong> Greensboro is a reasonable one-day drive from many points on the East Coast, including a 5-hour drive from Washington, D.C. to the north or a 5 \u00bd-hour drive from Atlanta, Georgia to the south.<\/p>\n

Lodging \u2013 Apartment-Style Dorm<\/strong>
\nFor participants comfortable with shared bath (and private bedroom), we recommend apartment-style dormitory accommodations to foster informal conversation.\u00a0 The dorm is a three-block walk<\/a> from the University of North Carolina Greensboro Elliott University Center where the conference sessions will take place. UNCG has set aside single-rooms in four-room, shared-bath suites in the Spring Garden Apartments<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These apartments consist of four, single bedroom units with a shared living room, full kitchen and two bathrooms.<\/p>\n
