Welcome to the instruction page for posting the interviews from “catalytic conversations” in advance of “Beyond Books” at MIT. \u00a0If you find this too complicated, you can always just email your notes to jtm@journalismthatmatters.org <\/a>and we’ll post them for you. But, to be honest, we’d like you to take the step now of joining the Journalism That Matters online community.<\/p>\n

1. \u00a0STEP ONE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Go to https:\/\/journalismthatmatters.org\/joinjtm<\/a><\/strong> and register (or log in<\/a><\/strong> if you have already registered.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll get an activation notice via email.<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0 Once activated, <\/strong>log in.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

3. <\/strong>Scroll to groups (on your left) and select BiblioNews.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

4. <\/strong>Click Join Group.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. STEP TWO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to the page where you will be able to enter copy or paste your interview notes. \u00a0HERE’s the PAGE: <\/strong>https:\/\/journalismthatmatters.org\/biblionewspreconference<\/a><\/p>\n

Note:\u00a0 for the extended toolbar, hit the button to the left of the YouTube button.\u00a0 It gives you more formatting options and the ability to copy Word docs in without extraneous stuff. <\/em>You can also save your draft, preview it, post tags, and use the other functions of WordPress. <\/em>To see your post, go to the home page and scroll past “<\/em>BiblioNews: Common purpose for journalists and librarians”. If you need to edit your post, use the little grey button at the end of the post. (Look just below the button of sharing options.)<\/p>\n
