Jill Oviatt posted an update in the group
Global Health Journalism: 7 months ago · ViewHi! I was meeting with Scott Macklin today over at the MCDM offices and he suggested I join your group. It sounded great and so I came to check it out and much to my surprise I see my colleagues Bobbi and Bill. I’m quite interested in finding out more. Jill

Hey @joviatt, welcome aboard! A quick walkthrough on the site…
You can mention folks in the activity stream here by putting the @ sybmol in front of their username (not first name, but username, which you can easily see by hovering the mouse over their first name, the URL ends with their journalismthatmatters.org/members/username)
Anyone can create a group about any topic. When you create a group, you are given the option to make a corresponding group blog (public, private, or hidden). Anyone who joins the group by default can become an author of that blog, as administrator you will have the ability to control permissions.
Our most active blog right now is The Seattle Journalism Commons http://journalismthatmatters.org/seattlejournalismcommons
We’re still trying to get others off the ground, so please give it a shot and invite some collaborators!
Hi Jill – Welcome. Let me know if you would like to schedule a brief call to hear about the Global Health working group. We’re making excellent progress and plan to update this website soon so it’s easier to understand at a glance.
Kind Regards,
